Finance Officer – Deponti Poland & Germany

To support our continued growth in Poland and Germany, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our team in Łódź.

Your Role

As a Finance Officer, you will support the financial administration and accounting activities for Deponti Poland and Germany. You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation and contribute to accurate financial reporting and efficient financial processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing purchase and sales invoices.

• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Supporting bank reconciliations and payment processing.

• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Monitoring outstanding payments and following up on overdue invoices.

• Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring that financial data is up to date.

• Supporting VAT reporting and other financial and administrative tasks.

• Working closely with the Finance team to improve processes and ensure compliance with internal procedures.

Your onboarding will take place at our headquarter office in Oss, the Netherlands, to help you become familiar with our processes, systems and international Finance team. Therefore, a willingness to travel, particularly during the onboarding period, is highly desirable.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and comfortable working in an international environment.

You bring:

• Previous experience in finance, accounting or financial administration.

• A good understanding of basic accounting principles.

• Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to your work.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across different countries.

• Confidence working with financial systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• A proactive mindset and the ability to work independently while being part of a team.

• Good English communication skills. Basic knowledge of German and Polish is preferred.

• A willingness to travel to our headquarter office in Oss, the Netherlands, for onboarding and occasional meetings in Artern, Germany. A general willingness to travel is highly desirable.
